Lewis and Clark Community College is holding application and assessment sessions in order to select 15 participants for their Highway Construction Careers Training Program. This is a FREE program that provides participants with the necessary skills needed to apply for jobs in construction. Participants learn construction related skills such as; math for the trades, job readiness, welding, blue print reading, and other hands on technical skills. At the end of the 16-week program, participants will be prepared to apply for apprenticeships with area unions to begin their new career. The program will start at the end of August.
