St. Louis Rock N Roll Marathon

Written by

St. Louis Rock N Roll Marathon got off to a great start this beautiful morning of October 27, 2013 at 7 am. Thousands gathered to race for a great cause. The Rock N Roll Marathon Series collaborates with official charities such as Leukemia Lymphoma Society, TASK (team activities for special kids), Team Challenge (Crohn’s & Colitis), ASPCA, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Cure Mito and Serious fun children network. The Rock N Roll Marathon provides more than a race for fun to all who participate; it provides money for charities. I witnessed people having a good time in St. Louis as they patrol on foot for the 3-mile race through downtown and midtown. There were some riding bikes with children in carriages and some wore costumes. People were there to cheer them on as they began to experience fatigue. Many participants road bikes as well. The Rock and Roll Marathon is for a great cause and great fun.

This October of 2013, proved to be a great day to race!
