A selfie photo outside with harsh light,
Indoors good light, But bad background,
When taking a Selfie picture watch out for common mistakes. Lighting is important, be sure to keep your eyes focused through the lens of your phone or iPad. Last thing, watch out for the background.
My husband, Eddie Floyd, a professional photographer, likes photos taken by a professional camera.
I see a sharper image; the professional camera gives more details.
Harsh light doesn’t matter with professional photos.
Here are Eddie’s reasons for liking professional photography:
“In order to take a photo you need light. Most selfie photos only use ambient light or light flash from a cell phone. A cell phone has a small lens to take the picture. A professional photographer can be more creative, using a wide choice of lights and lenses. A selfie photo has little detail in the image. Cell phones have between 3 to 8 megapixels. A professional camera has 14 to 80 megapixels. Depth of field allows for stunning photos. Selfie photos have their place in photography. However, a professional photographer truly shines in comparison.”
Okay, there you have it, which kind of photo's do you like better? There are no wrong answers because you like what you like.
